LIVER RESET combines milk thistle, dandelion, artichoke extract, turmeric, beetroot, ginger, alfalfa, and L-cysteine. These ingredients are often grouped under detox marketing, but that term can imply benefits supplements have not proven.
Milk thistle and silymarin
Milk thistle contains silymarin, a mixture studied for antioxidant and liver-related effects. Laboratory findings are interesting, but clinical trials have not established milk thistle as a treatment for liver disease.
Supporting botanicals
Artichoke, dandelion, turmeric, ginger, and beetroot provide different plant compounds and have traditional food or herbal uses. L-cysteine is an amino acid involved in the production of glutathione. These facts do not mean the combination cleanses the liver or reverses damage.
Bottom line: this formula is positioned for normal liver function and antioxidant support—not a miracle detox and not a treatment. People with liver concerns should seek medical evaluation. See the NCCIH review of milk thistle evidence.
